I tried to do it like they say in the manual, but it still wont budge. I dont want to try too hard and break it. Does anyone know how to remove the sidemarker?

Does anyone know how to remove the sidemarker? tlaselva 01-02-2003, 07:26 PM I took a flat screwdriver, wrapped in cloth, and squeezed it inbetween the bumper and lens. Once in, press down first then out gently. They are very fragile, so you do have to be careful. Broke the first one, but managed not to break the second. They only cost me $5 bucks to replace, so if they break, don't sweat it. (Had a pair painted same color as car.) Kevlar 01-03-2003, 03:13 AM Push down, then pull the top outwards, mine popped right out. Took me 3 minutes to get them out... but took me 20 minutes with a dremel to get the new clear white ones in. RST 01-04-2003, 10:21 AM I used a credit card to pry, push down and pull top first (same as Kevlar). I also let it sit out in the sun for a few hours so that I can get the bumper panel to flex better. Heat = flex. |
