Was on the 60E headed towards the 605N going to work this morning, as I am going 85+ on the fast lane about 2 miles before the 605N, I see a lowered honda accord with stickers cutting in and out of traffic doing 90 - 100, thought nothing of it as 605N is coming up so I started to cut to the right lane to enter on to 605N and three cars ahead as I am about to get to the 605N ramp I noticed the same accord decides to do one of those last second turnins infront of two 18 wheelers and an SUV. I really hate it when people do that, so during the turn I decides to follow suit and downshifted to 4th gear on the turn, and as I exited the turn I gunned my car and got to the fast lane immediately as the accord somehow got stuck go figures. About 2 minutes later I notice the same accord was on my tail as I am doing 85 in sixth, so I gave the M some gas and took her to 100 and entered the carpool lane since I do have a passenger with me. Thinking thats the end of that, as I ease back down to 85, I notice the same accord with 1 person on board decides to crossed into the carpool lane and was slowly gaining, so I decided to just put it in fifth and waited till he almost got to my rear and then I gunned it in fifth to 115 in a matter of seconds from 85... then I slowed down and again as he approached I did the same thing one last time and then he realized what I was trying to do to him. Acknowledging the Beast's hp, he finally stopped trying to hit my rear bumper. Just then the carpool lane ended, with me still going 85, he decides he is gonna take me out by doing his imfamous zigzaggin to get in front of me, but of course I was already ready for him, I waited untill he decides to cut 2 lanes to the right to pass this SUV on the right lane, thats when I floored the M pass the SUV and then into the lane he just got on right infront of him doing to him what hes been doing to other people (with the exception that he was cutting at a much slower, closer and dangerous pace) then powered zigzaged out of the pocket and onto an open lane to the left at 130 leaving him totally in the dust. Never saw him again after that as I eased down at the fast lane doing 85 all the way to the 210. Just kinda funny how these honda accord drivers thinks they are so badass because they can cut in and out of traffic, but especially cracks me up with he thinks a 4door bmw sedan is trying to race him :D E39 M5 is the ultimate sleeper :D

Very nice. I actually had a guy in a Jetta do that to me the other night. So once we hit an open spot... He gunned it. I let him get ahead. Then at 85 I punched it in 4th, reeled him in, passed him, and by 145 at 5k in fifth he was just a pinpoint of light in the mirror.

well its not really verus accord, I was just basically giving him a dose of the beast, showing him how stupid cutting in and out of traffic so close to other people was because his car was so unpowered, which obviously he didnt realize until he met the beast.

I think alot of people have no clue what a M5 is :D I actually have a story that a 540i owner with a M badge didnt know he was being paced by the M until his motor spit oil out its mufflers. But thats another story.

hehe ok, well again I was going to work, this time I was on the last leg of the 605N going towards 210West, there is a big sweeping left turn onto the 210W and most people take that turn around 65-70 since its a downward left turn and normally at 9am in the morning when you get to the bottom and merge onto the 210 W its basically jammed or slowed traffic. Thats on the turn is when I ran into the 540 lowered with a M badge, so I just decided to pull behind him as its only 2 lane and he was on the fast lane, we are doing like 65 down the ramp onto the 210 and I had the beast in 3rd just holding about 4500 rpms, as we got to the 210 thats when I heard the 540 punched it, so I figure i just pace him and follows suit as the M hit 6k on 3rd, then all a sudden some liquid flew on to my windshield from his car like when someone cleans their windshield infront of you on the freeway. At that moment, all I thought was he was being a dick by spraying windshield fluid on me because I was riding on his tail, I got pissed off and took it to redline on 3rd passing him on the left immediately, then slamming it to fourth all the way to about 125ish and let off. As I was doing this, I saw him basically disappeared to the right and pulled off, then when I got to work, thats when I was thinking back and it did kinda look like the liquid came from his pipes, so it cant be washer fluid, and cleaning the liquid off my hood and windshield confirmed that it was oil. So I kinda felt bad for him, because I wasnt really trying to race him but basically following another E39 down the 210, but I was driving a bit close to his bumper because I was late for work and didnt want asshole truckers to merge between us. So if you are that 540i ... I am sorrie if something bad happend to your engine... i didnt mean for it to happen that way btw.:rolleyes
