Open it up and look at them. Most likely you can get them from Radio Shack.

w/ the exception of the places of radio shack and that other car accessory shop in the north end of pearlridge. they didn't have them ... its so sad *sniff sniff* i should probably go to the dealership huh? apparently people don't like carryin' the air filter for the dinan air intake, K&N makes a filter that should fit it , but no one wants to carry it. :(

You are right Bryan.:D It is the outside air temp sensor. All you need to do is put is back in the hole of the brake duct.:)

Sheesh. makes one want to "share" some old brake fluid with them.

Of course, on that fine example of Detroit engineering, it would probably not be noticed.

The yellow clip looks to be for your outside temp as mentioned however, you are missing the other half that goes into your air duct, which would be the temp probe.
As for the red dots, who cares just wash your car and get that stuff off! :D

I used to work on Schofield.

My guess is, private contractors were hired to renovate (paint) the buildings and/or old ass houses in the area you live in.

That happened to my golf when I was working at the medical unit on Schofield only difference was that it was white paint.

i will dont worry.. lol

my dad has all the tools recommended for this and I'm at home now with him...

he put in oem bushing with the washers and said it was a pretty easy job with the correct tools...

he has done his rtabs and lcabs on his 1997 328is... he did the entire front suspension minus shocks/springs..... control arms, tie rods, lcabs, and the rtabs... got to drive it last night and it handles amazing on the oem shocks springs... i cant wait to put all new bushings, and then the c/o setup on my car

im looking to buy the tools as well, so I can do other cars and such

They were on sale during the month of Sept. RTABs and tool for $199 I believe. Haven't looked there since the sale ended.

================
Edit: OK, I went to their site as linked above. This is what I'm going to order, soonish:

A-0075 Rear Trailing Arm Bushing Tool and Busjing Kit: $200

Info on the kit:

Are your OEM Rear Trailing Arm Bushings wore out on your E36 or E46 3 series? Don’t have the tools to replace them? Want to improve the handling over the factory suspension? Well this kit is for you.
The kit includes:
Rear Trailing Arm Bushing Removal/Install Tool
Rear Trailing Arm Bushing Alignment Tool
OEM Style Rear Trailing Arm Bushings
Rear Trailing Arm Bushing Shims for improved handlingBoth tools are simple to use and are made using heavy duty steel construction. Easy to follow instructions are included. The Rear Trailing Arm Bushing Shims are designed to limit the lateral movement of the Rear Trailing Arm which prevents toe changes which keeps the back end of the vehicle better “planted” during hard cornering.
