View Full Version : Bought a tail pipe tip. O-Dogg 12-10-2006, 08:57 PM I bought a tail pipe tip off of ebay a few weeks ago and received it on saturday. I haven't put it on yet & might hold off till spring so the salt doesn't mess it up. I didn't want a flashy chrome one,always wanted a black one or like gunmetal finish. I got a black one for $19. Why spend $300+ on an exhaust for my car when i'll gain a mere 1-2hp. It's not worth it in my opinion,i just wanted to fill in the hole in the bumper better and make that ugly pipe look better. Who said you had to spend $300 for an exhaust, where you could just get a muffler at least.... Oh, and the black chrome tips will look sweet on my car(harvest gold) and I'm actually going to put 3.5"x 18" long tips where my mufflers used to be....some cars look good with chrome, and some look great with the black chrome. looks cool, hope it doesn't rust on ya.
