Screw any welding on this car. I am lazy.:embarrasm I am gonna use the motor swap for SKY as a welding project. I'll need to weld new mounts and radiator brakets and etc etc etc. So SKY is the project car again. Pops said I can can either keep this black E21 or the M3. One of the two has to go. He says I have too many BMW's currently to keep on the driveway. :rolleyes

So anyways... 1981 BMW E21 320i. 5 Speed. 100M on the clock. Clean title.

I just bought the car for 1K and threw in about $860 extra. Someone show me a good offer and I'll throw in an ANSA muffler, iS steering wheel, and some headers for free. It is a GREAT Daily Driver. Interior is about 85% great (could use new carpet :dunno ). Doesn't overheat at all. Only gets to the 1st 1/4 mark on the temp guage. About 90% mechanically sound.

Needs:
-gas tanks center rubber tube replaced
-brakes tweeked a little
-some attention to rust

I added:
-13" BBS' along with spare (worth about $200)
-new badges (fr&rr) (paid $16)
-perfect Recaro seats (worth about $450)
-Hella yellow fogs (brand new) (paid $90)
-and Neuspeed front strut bar (worth about $100)

It has:
-keyless entry
-alarm
-FOHA spoiler (I think. Not sure of the brand)
-perfect iS front spoiler
-some after market stereo and speekers
-and is wired for a big sound system.

PICS...

Sorry. It's gotta go for straight cash. Dad pitched in for this car and wants the money back. I'll take 2K flat. I could sleep good for that. If nobody else takes it this week, I will think about the option and talk to the head of the house. Great offer though. Seriously.

I always pull things down off ebay when I "may have a buyer" outside ebay :buttrock

so should I rephrase that as "you'll have a buyer" then?

rjk3rd320is
12-14-2006, 11:42 AM
you should only rephrase it as that if you are positive that you are going to buy the car, no sense it getting his hopes up and then let him down.

Where is this 2k number coming from? You paid 1k and put 865 into it. I want this car, basically for the engine, I need to start putting together a new engine for some future plans.

Its a cool car, but to be honest you shouldn't try and make a profit off of it. Selling it for what you paid + exactly what you payed for stuff into it is even still high for selling cars, especially these. If it were me I would shoot for 1.8k max.

that comes with any car, the fact is that cars never gain value, you hardly get out of it what you put in it.

I put 2K for room to negotiate. I would be thrilled to get $1,800 to be exact. That's what the car deserves imo.

erzengel. You really really really interested. Cause it cost me $35.00 just to list the car on eBay. I want to be sure I should take it off.

Keep it on ebay for the time being. If it doesn't sell, 1800 sounds like a reasonable offer. I'm scraping together the funds as we speak, so I'll let you know by the end of today.

Too much vert on that ditch

whaaat??

there's not a single bit of vert..

"vert" refers to vertical.

vertical means straight up and down.

like, perpendicular to the ground.

those angles are perfect for skating, unless youre a total pussy.

um.. for real.. where is it located?
i travel A LOT, and usually bring my board with me.

if it's some secret spot, then cool... but otherwise, why hold out?

To be exact... It's on a long stretch of Santa Rosa Rd located on the outskirts of Camarillo/Santa Rosa Valley between Gerry Rd and Yucca Dr. That's honestly where it is. Which is honestly about 15-20 min from PCH. Seriously. Zip code is 93012. Mapquest it.

Ubernoob... I don't know how long you think it takes from Camarillo, but I honestly spend about 20-25 min MAX getting to PCH from my house.

Yup, back way up PCH and then into the fields (Las Posas Rd, etc) are the best ways to do that fast. And BTW, I think I used to drag race on that road. :)

So I was half tempted to buy the car...and then realized that is about what I need to put into the 318is to make me happy with it again (minus paint issues), so I think I'll pass. Good luck with it though Barry.

Sorry I've been away everyone, been busy. But I WILL be at Bimmerfest with the e21 this year (had to take it to a shop to finish it since I moved to a place I couldn't work on cars) and it WILL be boosting. :D

I lived off santa rosa rd for 15 years, it takes 15 mins to get to the TO mall, not all the way out to PCH and into malibu.

closer to 30 mins.

Dude. I've lived here 19 years. It doesn't matter how long you have lived here. Obviously you drive slow. I was just at the TO mall, to finish Christmas shopping, this morning and it only took me 9 mins to get there. I swear. Drive faster. ;)

I think you're mistaken, obviously I obey the posted limits ;)

there's no need to speed on public roads when I spend so much time on tracks going balls out.
