View Full Version : Five (5) DSIIs DS2s with new tires
JohnnyWash1 12-09-2006, 06:53 PM Alright, I finally stepped up and got some Koseis, so I need to get rid of these DS2s. They are stock staggered setup, with two brand new tires on the back. I went with General Exclaim UHPs for their excellent rating (number 1 in their category on Tirerack) and affordable price. They are quiet, grippy and do well in the rain. I have put around 1K on them. They are 245/40ZR17s, so they speedometer is not affected. The fronts have more wear, as they are Kumho Ecsta Supra. One of them has some cupping from a bad suspension, but the other is decent. They both have around 50% tread left. They are sized 225/45ZR17. The spare is a full size 17x7.5 with a new 225/45ZR17 Michelin on it. I am offering all 5 with tires for $650 + shipping. Please don't lowball, this is a good deal.
EDIT, here are some pics. I apologize for the dirt--I haven't been able to wash the car for a few days. If somebody really wants, I'll go to my friend's house (he has a hose, my apartment complex does not) and clean them up. There is only minor scraping on one of the fronts, I believe.

The passenger front (last photo) has the cupping. Time for suspension overhaul...

Any questions, feel free to ask.
94calypsored 12-09-2006, 07:34 PM how much is shipped to 07052?
JohnnyWash1 12-09-2006, 07:43 PM I haven't looked into shipping yet. Let me check now.
JohnnyWash1 12-09-2006, 07:52 PM Looks like shipping is about $180 to NJ, which is just about as far away as any place, so please use that as the shipping price. That was using DHL, BTW, so if somebody wants to use another carrier we'll have to arrange something else.
94calypsored 12-10-2006, 10:05 AM would you be interested in selling me just the spare wheel and tire for $150 shipped?
thanks
JohnnyWash1 12-10-2006, 03:07 PM Not unless I can get somebody to just pick up the 4.
ButcherK33 12-10-2006, 03:47 PM You should try shipping Fed-Ex ground, they're shipping is like $85 at the most. I just shipped a set of wheels and tires to Conneticut from Michigan, and the total was like $65.
JohnnyWash1 12-10-2006, 04:51 PM I'll look into that now
JohnnyWash1 12-10-2006, 04:54 PM It's virtually identical with FedEx. They want $186.
bob martin 12-11-2006, 12:25 PM I might be interested. PM me.

ryanbimmer 12-11-2006, 04:50 PM still for sale?
JohnnyWash1 12-11-2006, 08:21 PM Yes, these are still for sale. I have a few people PMing me, but nobody has paid yet. We are in the middle of a wind storm, so I won't be able to take more pictures until tomorrow at the earliest (people are PMing me about clean pictures).
3DGE95Ti 12-14-2006, 05:22 PM BLA where is that tax refund check thing!! GAHH NEED CASH!!!
JohnnyWash1 12-15-2006, 01:00 AM You won't get a refund for a few weeks at least. It's cool.
94calypsored 12-18-2006, 10:43 PM are you ready to split the set? I need both the rear 17x8.5's
JohnnyWash1 12-19-2006, 01:31 AM I'm not ready to split as I'm not even ready to ship. I'm out of town until the 1st, so I cannot do anything with these until then. If anybody is interested, I can ship after the 1st.
3DGE95Ti 12-19-2006, 05:17 AM I think I will call jack, see if he will buy my stinken wheels!
JohnnyWash1 12-19-2006, 11:27 PM Do it, so we can move along with our lives. Har har.

i'm gonna use it as a spare, who cares... doesn't have to match. i have new rims (SSR GT2) but just 4 of them, and i'm gonna sell the 5 LTW wheels, so i'll need to get a spare from somewhere.
JohnnyWash1 12-24-2006, 09:20 PM Ok, so this is complicated. If you guys can work a way to split it, let me know.
JohnnyWash1 12-31-2006, 05:38 PM Bump--I'm back in town and these are ready to ship/deliver.

How much shipped to 07052 for the two rears? 17x8.5"
JohnnyWash1 12-31-2006, 06:37 PM Not splitting unless I have buyers for everything.
m3j0n 12-31-2006, 08:30 PM ill take all 5 wheels if you can get rid of the tires
Soler NRG 12-31-2006, 09:43 PM ill take all 5 wheels if you can get rid of the tires
Yeap, me too (if m3j0n doesn't grab them). I might even consider if you get rid of just the two front tires.
Tires are a heavy as the wheels themselves. I'd rather not pay over $100 shipping for used tires. Wheels alone will cut the shipping in half. If you sell just the wheels, man... I'll love you for it!
PS: have you considered shipping through Greyhound? I might buy the whole package with tires if you're willing to ship that way (prices are usually 1/3 what UPS would charge)
JohnnyWash1 12-31-2006, 09:51 PM I've thought about Greyhound, and will look into that tomorrow.
