Can't find my bookmark. Just trying to figure out a source for the VARNA V170R battery, and maybe a LED to replace the bulb. Pretty sure that site had both, but can't remember where it's at.

Nevermind, I found it. Why can't I post URLs yet???

You must be doing something wrong. Just copy and paste.

Ditto 4500 RPM...Stevie Wonder and Jose Feliciano can insert URLs (or links) on this site...all you have to do is copy and paste...or even just type anything with the URL address formula (www.the_URL_name.com) and the site will automatically turn it into a clickable link. ;)

(if I'm right...the site just automatically turned the made up link formula into a clickable link when I clicked the "submit" button)

That's nice, but it STILL won't let me copy & paste. I can do one by hand (short ones). OK, I just figured it out, but I still can't do it manually. Have to use the global thing above.

I just wish I had a flash light period... working or not. It's the one thing the car DOESN'T have.
That being said the cordless phonebattery mod looks like it would be a piece of cake to accomplish.

Bavauto sells replacement flashlights. They are around $25 though.

I've seen them for $16.99 (+ shipping) on Ebay, for new ones. I'm basicly bored and want to see if I can rebuild it, but counting time, ect... it would be cheaper to just buy it... unless you have a source for batteries local, which I don't.

BTW, Acculux has a neat plug in flashlight for retrofit into other makes, or even older BMWs that looks interesting. Might order one for my trunk.
