Hey guys,

There's a really really clean 81 323i for sale here in Arizona.

The owner is originally from NH, but moved to Arizona a couple years back, and was going to sell it as it had no AC and it's a wee bit warmer in southern AZ than it is in NH.

I drove this car, the car is in IMMACULATE condition, in and out. He's the original owner, brought it with him from Europe. NO RUST, car was garaged during winters in NH. AC has been added, and I know the guy who did the install - it is quality work. Chassis mileage was I think in the 150K range, motor rebuilt about 25K ago (IIRC).

He was asking $6K or $7K back when I was looking at it (I didn't quite have the cash to swing it or I'd have bought it - hell I don't have the cash now or I'd buy it...), but he just called me and has a serious medical condition that makes it impractical to keep the car. I'm not sure what his current asking price is.

He has a potential buyer lined up, but is afraid that the care won't be cared for well by the "new" owner. Any E21 guys that can step up?

Re: Mods, none as I recall; all stock. He's got some side skirts on it, but that's about it. 13" BBS wheels, recaros, sport wheel. Interior and exterior in excellent shape. Drives great.

323i is rare in new england do to rust and age,
but you have to look harder. VT bimmer has scored two Alpina b6s in the southern vt, NH line...

Open up a roundel issue and scan the back.:buttrock

PS: This 323i seems to be clean...but not sure if its worth the 7k....

I agree that it is tougher in the North East, but they are out there. Funny part is I bought my 320/6 out of MN, but the car was registered in CT up to 2003.

I would also say 7K is steep for a stock 323, especially considering there is one on ebay now (that looks is great shape) with many tasteful mods for that price.
