I will be driving to Houston this weekend. any known speed traps that i need to know about.

The local Ennis cops used to have a trap set up pretty regularly. They used to have unmarked blue mustangs, but I don't know what they use now.

Also, the DPS troopers tend to cluster around the rest areas (there are 2 or 3 on the way). I don't know if this is so they can have a place to relieve themselves or what. Just be careful the 2 or so miles before and after the rest stops.

Among others, be careful just north of Huntsville and as you come into the Conroe area....after that you are home free
