Don't bang your head over Palomino's question. I believe he's referring to 'oil' for lubricating hinges on the top and related mechanisms. As for 'tires', he alluding to the fact that e36 convertibles have a minimum tire size of 205/60-15 while the non-convertibles have a minimum tire size of 185/65-15. ;)

btw, thanks again to you and other mods for creating this subforum.
