Hadrian 12-05-2006, 07:27 PM L-jet is a very basic system. I was going to swap for L-jet but I decided to go for MegaSquit instead. IMO if you have all the parts then you may as well swap from K-jet to L-jet, but have a look at other engne management systems. jjgbmw323 12-05-2006, 09:40 PM Hi, go either megasquirt or stand alone. Coyote 12-06-2006, 12:19 AM ok, megasquirt is really interesting. but that only replaces the ECU, i need the rest of the injection. actually i was thinking on using the L-Jet + megasquirt. any other setup suggestion is welcomed. JJ any info you can provide is welcomed. Hadrian 12-06-2006, 12:57 AM Yeah, you need to use the L-jet fuel rail with pressure regulator attached. Probably some other L-jet things are needed. AFM is not needed though. jjgbmw323 12-06-2006, 05:53 AM I am first going to use motronic, 19lb mustang injectors and then a standalone, setup. this replaces the ecu, and you can program it on the fly...with a laptop, and you can monitor each injector, and boost levels. I am waiting to get my engine back, installed first and my tax return. I will pm you the details as to which one....I dont want to let the cat out of the bag... |
