my fuel air regulator got messed up during the re build and i swapped out the one from the part car which was an 82 and my car is an 83. i was wondering A) if someone could rebuild or knew of someone who could rebuild my 83 one, and B) if someone knows the corect fuelair mixture to set the car at cuz i think my MPG is all messed up becasue my dad messed with my fuel air mixture.

any help on this subject would be GREAT. thanks guys

I assume you mean your air flow meter and fuel distributor? They are all the same from '80 to '83. As long as it's clean and you have a good seal between the fuel distributor and air flow meter you can adjust everything so it runs properly. Set the lift plate height and make sure it's centered.

Did you also swap fuel distributors? If so your system pressue may be set slightly differently than the other fuel distributor. This in turn could make your WUR not adjusted perfectly so the mixture could be off. If it starts fine and runs ok when warm, you should be able to adjust it with the mixture adjustment.
