Actually, Toyo RA1s just start to get good when all the tread is gone. But I'm guessing you are on non-R-comp tires.

I'm going to try and show up, but I've been working like a mad dog lately, we'll see if things free up. I need an alignment too, plus some other suspension tweaks.

yeah, i'm on street tires now and i've ruined the outer edge of both front tires from me understeering through turns too much. i used to run RA1s on the street and they were great... i think i might need to get another set of them before the autox :)

I dunno... I've run my RA1's down to the bars from full-tread, and I think I've heat-cycled em one too many times... the rubber doesn't grab like it used to. Pretty sure a fresh set at full tread would stick signifigantly better than these. :(
