looking to get an alpine cda 7894
what would i need to make it work in my car? do i need to buy the harness, if so , where?

A harness would be a very good idea. Houston is a big city, any stereo shop would either have one or could easily order one. Should cost less than $20.

You need a wiring harness and antenna adapter.
