I was looking for a 4 door awd car, and i would like to stick to bmws. Other than the xi's how do the e46 i's handle in the snow with a good set of blizzaks? I was told that the e46's have alot of issues, ive read the parked threads, but i never had anyone complain about them. If anyone has any suggestions of other 4 door awd cars feel free to let me know! I would appreciate anyones experiences or what they herd. Thanks in advance guys!

I cannot speak to other people's experiences. I can tell you that my entire ownership experience with this car has been terrific. It is truly an awesome automobile. There are few cars out there that reward with the seat of the pants exitement(not to sound like a commercial) that this car can. If I were to speak ill of the car it would probably all be related to the inflated prices that the dealerships(stealerships) charge for repair after the warranty is over with. If you find yourself a good shop that specialized in German autos you are much better off. Unfortunately I learned this later rather than sooner. The car is a tuner car where much horsepower can be gained at relatively little expense. An ECU changeout gets you an additional 50HP! I never went that route afraid that I might do damage to my car. And out of the factory the car was fast enough for me. Even now I am giving up the car with some reluctance.
