Okay, so my car came with the" Satilite radio prep" option. I am told I need the actual Sirius "tuner" from the dealer. About $700. Is this about right? Is it a diy plug and play once I get that unit? I tried search but really only came up with info on adding aftermarket Sirius to existing systems. How about adding OEM units to preped cars. Any clues? Info?

Will your car accept an aftermarket sirius tuner with the standard 13 pin plug or do you need a special BMW one? Or do you even know? Sounds like the BMW unit would be expensive.
