I just picked up a 2005 e66. With it came the phone. It is currently not charged and I have no idea what model phone it is other than a Motorola. The dealer told me that the phone is now worthless as it can only be activated once by the origonal owner. Is this true? If this is a load of crap, is there as special company that I must use to activate and use the phone with the car? From what I can tell, it looks like it has never been used. Not a mark on it. I needed a new phone and this one would fit the bill perfectly. I don't need a picture phone, web access, email, games or anything else other than to make phone calls. FWIW, My 2yo son fed my Samsung picture phone to the dog and its a real mess though it still works. I just never used even 1/4 of its functions. It would be nice if this phone worked in Europe but its okay if it doesn't.

FWIW, The phone is useless. I'll have to upgrade to BT to get one to wirk. Kinda sux in a 2005 car.
