Well, the saga continues with attempting to get the M5 registered here. Went to the reconstructed vehicle permit station (which, I'm sure most of you know, is in a pretty shady trailer/shipping container under the freeway - real legit looking operation...) and was dismayed when they failed the car based on the fact that I didn't have "proof of alignment to factory specs."
What a waste of $15. Not only that, I would have brought said proof had the lady on the phone told me that's what I needed (I even asked what documentation to bring for a lowered car). Guess I learned my lesson.
So now I'm looking for a good shop to buy 4 new tires from and get a front end alignment (rear tires are at the wear strips - writing was on the wall for that one, but I figured I could get away with it...guess not). Any advice?
Did a forum search and saw Hawaiian Tire in Aiea was highly recommended - do they sell Kumho's?
