My car was in the shop for a few weeks, and I started to miss it. I've got it back now, but while it was gone I started imagining how it would be if it got a role in some of your more memorable car films.

Personally, I'm kinda keen on the hover conversion...

No worries mate,

Let me know what you'd like and I'll give it a go.

But, it might take me a week or so before I can get back to you, I'm gonna be out of town until next Thursday and won't have access to my photoshop....

Wait, there was a 6 series in back to the future. It is in the one where they go to the furture. It can be seen in the scene where they ride the hover skateboards. I'm pretty sure it was a convertible, but if anyone remembers the cars from that movie, they were all just clearly 80s cars with ridiculous bodykits with fake jets on the back. Delorean is cool too tho.

Man that is some good photoshop ing !!

Sorry mate,

didn't see your post until just now, glad to see someone helped out anyway.

Thanks for the comments everyone, I appreciate it.

Credit should definitely go to addnon, who put up this excellent thread http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=561764
a couple of months ago, with very helpful and clear instructions on how to change the colours on a car using photoshop. (btw, i use jasc paint shop pro)

As anyone would, I had a go with a photo of my car. Its pretty easy when you get it sussed, next thing you know I've got that same picture of my car in every bloody colour there is. The burnt orange one looked familiar, I stuck a number on it and put 'general lee' on the roof. That looked okay so I thought, '..what else could i try... '.

Batmobile's a cool idea mate, I'll have a go. Will probably take me a while though. I thought I should try some different angles, front on shots, but that would be pretty hard to get it all looking right.

I thought I'd try Burt's car in Smokey & the Bandit and I thought about knight rider, I reckon they'd both have to be the quarter front-on to look any good, but we'll see...

Any other suggestions I'm all ears. I'm not fast but I'm happy to have a go when I get the time.
