I know this is a bimmer forum, but this is a German car!

Anyone interested in purchasing a '99 Jetta?
Little over a 100k
KBB @ $4,600 for fair condition
Asking $4,000
New:
Alternator
Water pump/t-stat (volks german rip off at $650)
T-belt changed last year
New Driverside window regulator
Tires in good condition
A/C is nice and cold
Sound system is decent
Rear seats fold down for more cargo space from the trunk
Power everything except the mirrors
Remote keyless entry
Factory alarm...horn will blow.

Repairs needed
Power mirror switch
Some cosmetics pass. fenderliner, front driver side air dam
Cup holder is broken
Minor scratches and small dent on front fender
Just found out the interior light does not come on when opening the driver's door. However, it works with the pass. door

Sorry for the night shots, but I can take more pics if anyone is interested.

It's probably that switch on the body that operates the door chime as well... For anyone here that buys the car I can help the new owner get the broken parts at a discount from the stealership.

It's a Toyota RAV that I'm evaluating for 1 day.

Look for my earth quake thread!

Woody, this is your car?
Yes it is, well it's my car, but my step daughter was driving it. We purchased the car in Oregon about a year and half ago and brought the car home when she decided to go to the UH this year instead! :mad
Now my Mother in-law has given us her '96 Camry because she purchased a new one. I just sold my M roady to make room and now we have another car...sheesh!
If you're interested or someone else on Maui is interested I'll pay up to half of the shipping cost to Maui. Only because I feel for you guys on the neighbor islands having to pay double shipping cost.
This is only for the neighbor island buyers and does not apply to O'ahu buyers.
