Voted for 6 because it looks amazing in the front and also the way the carbon fiber goes all the way along the middle makes it look nice.

seriously, note to the maker of that one tho, you need to put a shadow under it. that's what really took it out of consideration for me. no offence

i liked 1 because the bg change was pretty good and the paint job is different

comments for the others:
2: looks really good and you matched the headlight angles really well. not my design style tho. also, you lost quite a bit of detail next to the headlamp driver side and the front wheel is not centered.

4: very clean coupe chop, you even remembered the side windows seen thru the windshield. also good choice of wheels to match the angle of the car. problems though include wierd grill, the mesh doesn't match where the license plate and foglights were. also rear tire is too wide, esp w/o a fender flare or such. tread looks a bit wierd

and not really a negative, just an oddity, but coupes generally have a B pillar. but this appears to be a design choice so its cool

5:one of the few to attempt a color change, but you have some ghetto selection around the windows and the grill and such. also around the grill there seems to be smudging, watch out for that. wheel choice looks good, but source pic doesn't fit the car well, the rims here look flat and the rear one is blurry (different f-stop than rest of car). also work a bit on airbrushing for the front air dam, lots of blurryness, but the shape is very good. like the mirror delete, its unique. overall a VERY good base, but needs about an extra hour or two to clean it up.

6: not much done, but what was done was done immaculately. can't find any flaws. unfortunately, in a field with so many crazy designs, it just seems to get lost. good skill though

i think the last bmw chop we did we had 3 people, nonbmw's seem to allow more creative ideas imo because the person doesn't need to fear losing votes because they don't follow the LTW's, clears, and drop formula. didn't spur many new ideas.


but if i win i'll be willing to try out a BMW again and see if we can garner similar interest.

i'm personally trying to get the hang of it too. i try to avoid it, that's why i thought it was at leas a good base.

maybe just use the pen tool or lasso tool to help in defining edges so they can be straight? not sure if this is correct tho since i have yet to really give it a try and not butcher it completely

i actually thing the red one would be perfect for some choping.

i likes this idea a lot. i agree, the blue one would be really neat, but might be difficult with the tarps. the red one would be easier, but if we don't mind not having many entries, then the blue one would work imo

this might give me an opportunity to try this airbrushing stuff lol.

would also be nice if we could find a crappy bmw to try this with, but that blue one is a good angle
