I have a 1994 540i and my guage cluster is telling me "engine oil low, owners manual" but i got no owners manual, so im afraid to drive it til i figure out wtf this is about! some one help...

Get a rag, ppull out your dip stick, wipe it off and put it back in. Now take it out again and check where the level is. It should be between the two lines on the stick.
