Matt I just got an email from him. It's USC sports car club following in the footsteps of Clemson Sports Car Club. Registration is by SCCA classes. I assume it will be SCCA rules also. I'm willing to try it out and support a local autocross group.

Hope to see all the BMW Autocross regulars there, 2 races in one weekend baby!!!!!

yeah... i'm in this group at USC... i've only been able to get out to one meeting though... i'm a slacker

i'll probably sign up for this... not sure if i can afford both this one and the one the day before though :(

I might show up in the CRX, depending on how I feel after the drive back from Orangeburg.

there are some nice cars between those guys... i saw two M3's during the meeting i went to... one of the guys is a member on here... he's got the "before, then, now" sig

Still havent heard anything back from OP. Still a little iffy on how well put together this event is going to be. I think JohnK hangs with this crew, so hopefully he will have a hand in course design and showing these guys how things should be ran.

Jon K. is not going to be at the event as he will be at another Auto-X in Valdosta Ga. this coming weekend. But he will be at the rest of our events as he is our Resident Bad Ass Driver! Yes hes in our Carolina Motorsports and comes out EVERY Wed. night for our meets. I feel it is our priveledge to have such an accomplished driver in our club.

Anyway... We have the Clemsons guys coming down to help set up and the event should go extremely smoothly. They have been setting up Auto-Xs for about 26 years now and Im not worried about this event not going well. Lol! So for all of you with Questions...send em my way!

Last I talked to him, he was going to be in Orangeburg, too.

Auto-X has been POSTPONED!!! The Parking Lot at IRMO (we have been enformed) will not be available this weekend. Why...we are not sure but we will let yall know when we will be holding the next Auto-X! Sorry for the let down!
