Sorry, but these things are so tempting. Instead of soliciting prices I've set it as a poll. Hopefully this will make it easier.

I just found this car in the neighborhood. Have not fully inspected it or driven it. Appears rather original. Seats look original. Steering wheel does not but I don't know what a 74 wheel looks like.

Wife already drives the 540iT but has had a thing for 02s. Got to keep the woman happy... :D

You will need to add some pictures of the extent of rust... Complete rustbucket = far less than 4000...

Inspect it first and take some photos:D Good luck

The paint seems a bit tired and suggests there's rust somewhere to look for... I always look at a car from the paint in. It has usually cost me more for body and paint than interior and more for interior than engine and drivetrain.

As always check pedal box, rear shock towers, frame rails, around windows/light assemblies. Also check pinch welds, bottom sides of the pans and fender corners(where the fender meets the door at the bottom.)

Whrere I live, a solid tii with nice paint goes for $7500. A ground up resto is $10000-15000.

A run down tii with rust issues is $2000-$4000.

Honestly, for people that live in places with plenty of quality 02s will pay only 25% more over a plaine 02.

When Iam done with mine it will go on the market for around $6500, this spring (Iam moving to another country for awhile)

I just bought a '74 tii. Runs great. Needed a new exhaust. Some minor rust issues in doors and fenders, but no problems in shock towers or pans. Paint is tired, but still presentable. On close inspection, it has about four slightly different shades of the same color as PO replaced various pieces over the years with slightly mismatched parts from other cars. Interior is pretty well shot. Basically, it's a project car that was half-assed restored ten years ago. The PO was asking $5,000 when he started and I finally bought it for $2,200 about three months later. Hope that helps.
