The past couple days I've noticed my CEL turn on while the temp gauge is in the blue but will go off immediately after the gas pedal is pressed at all. With the stomp test it shows no codes. Is this common? I want to take care of whatever before it gets any worse.

Sounds like your intake gaskets need to be replaced.
