Just for some more data, here is a quick update JDHolder's S54:

http://www.evosport.com/public/dynos/s54race1.jpg

This is a N/A 3.2L motor with our bottom end solution (custom crank, rods, pistons, non BMW bearings), evosport header, pulleys and custom exhaust. CSL Airbox and stock cams/head. Sunoco 104

This style shorty header with this primary size just caps out around here. This was the night the motor was built/broken in so it likely has 2-3 more hp/tq now, but 360 is the limit we have seen over and over. We have a proper long tube race header going on this motor shortly.

Note: smoothing is at ZERO

Thanks
Brad

I can tell you all that this is the most powerful motor that Evosport has built for me. Since the development on the bottom end has been complete, with their bearing solution we have had zero problems with the motor.

Now, if the nut behind the wheel (me) would quit mechanically over-revving the motor on downshift during heated race battles, then this motor would be bulletproof!!

I'll let Brad get into the specifics if he wants to, but I know he won't mind sharing with you that it is running an AEM EMS, CSL Airbox (no AFM) with locked cams.

seriously.... I could go for some long tubes.... actually i would assume they are custom made because i doubt they are going to keep the twin pipe setup all the way out...but i could be wrong..? You guys wanna sell us some long tubes?
