Ok so I have a set of M-pars 18,' and this guy has a set of 17' throwing stars wheels that whats me to trade for his and he will throw some money in too. The two sets are in the same condition the tires treads on mine are too low to use. I really dont mind the 17 or 18 looks but the original 15 ride quality is great. How much money do you think I should ask for the deal?

I would probably keep the M-pars.

I'd keep the M-Pars and look for a set of Style 5s or Rondell 58's :)

no, and I think the throwing stars aren't either. Right now I'm using the oem basketweave 15 and I like them for a 15 wheel.

1. This is what 18" BMW original MPars are worth (I chose the e38 MPars because they have the same wheel hub diameter of 72.56mm as the e34): http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=GJ83&mospid=47531&btnr=36_0189&hg=36&fg=15
2. This is what 18" BMW original M5 MPars are worth: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=HJ91&mospid=47399&btnr=36_0190&hg=36&fg=15
3. This is what 17" BMW e34 original Throwing Stars are worth: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?model=HJ91&mospid=47399&btnr=36_0098&hg=36&fg=15
As someone else stated...if the Throwing Stars are BMW originals...they are forged alloy wheels and are worth more than cast alloy Mpar replicas. Forged alloy wheels are lighter but stronger than cast alloy wheels. That's why they are probably throwing in more money for the swap.

Nope. BBS, FUNDO, OZ, RONAL round off BMWs external sources for outsourced wheels.
Additionally, if no 11-digit part number is stamped on the rear, they are not real BMW wheels, but replicas.
