i still cannot thank you enough for coming and helping rescue me yesterday. i would have been stuck there without you.
thanks to mike also for bringing the tools to take off that damn strut bar.

my car looks like shit now but it would probably still be sitting out there if you guys didnt come and help. thanks for the MOFO love.

i was on my way home from edmond with a classmate and ended up getting a flat tire on I-35 right in front of BWW. i was calling people to come and help and nobody was answering their phones. i cant get my trunk open because its broken so i couldnt even get the damn spare tire out. jed came to my rescue to help me but couldnt get the tire out so he called mike and he came with tools to undo my strut bar to get the spare tire out. so jed, still dressed in nice work clothes, changed my tire for me. so now i have one 16 rim with a snow tire on it and three 17 contours. my car is gimpy right now. i have new tires coming tomorrow.
i had no one else to call so i am greatful to them for helping me, i was not about to leave my car on the side of I-35.

haha no prob. you get the rest of your tires' air pressure checked? the right rear looked really low. i think the tire popped b/c of low pressure/high speed.

Yeah... about that. I messed up my new D&G tie and there was a tear in my ZEGNA suit-but my BREITLING watch seems to be fine as well as my FERRAGAMO shoes.

So a rear strut bar impedes the ability to pull your spare out? Looks like I'm not putting one on for sure.

So a rear strut bar impedes the ability to pull your spare out? Looks like I'm not putting one on for sure. well if your trunk opens probably not. I'm guessing they pulled the spare out through the fold down seats, and the shock tower brace would definitely get in the way of that.

correction! we did call you. she did and i did. :shifty

about the rear shock tower bar. it is nice to have, but just leave a cheap socket set in the car to remove the two nuts that hold the bar in place. not only for a spare tire, but for if you ever need to escape out of your car through the trunk... for some reason. :eyecrazy

sounds like a blast, lol

I've only had a flat tire once, and my spare was flat so I had to walk 3 miles home to get the pickup and leave my car jacked up on the side of some podunk road out by Lake Thunderbird all day while I drove in to Norman and got a new tire.

I saw you driving yesterday Carrie, you were eastbound on Main street over by Cici's and Hobby Lobby, I was westbound a few minutes after 5PM.

there's no way I could have missed you if I was even looking in the right direction...that car is bright! Were you headed east or west? if you were going west you were probably a few cars in front or behind me.

Carrie, didn't popeye's turn into chicken express or something? The one on Lindsey over by the bowling alley? that reminded me of a couple years ago when me and a friend really wanted some Dairy Queen cause we were tired of getting Rusty's all the time, so we looked them up in a phonebook and drove all the way to Midwest City to find out that the DQ had turned into a frozen custard place almost exactly like Rusty's. Same menu and everything. :mad
