the time has come to change my oil... I was quoted at a local german autobody shop for 76 dollars to get it changed with everything.

How hard is it to change the oil yourself.... How much would the oil and filter be?

I am not a car expert, but i could change the oil on my tahoe by myself?

Any ideas?

:werd: What he said. $76 is below parts cost (at least what you can buy the parts over the counter for). I'd be suspicious that he's going to throw regular 3-series oil in there.
