For Sale:

Set of four Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires
225/45-ZR17
D.O.T. R Compound
Heat cycled and shaved
Used one track weekend, some treads left.

These are excellent track tires but they require a lot of heat to get maximum grip. Once they're warmed up, they're consistent and predictable. Cold they're a little squirrelly. Not recommended for first-time R Compound users.

Tire Rack retail price $235 each.
Asking $200 obo + shipping, pickup wlecome.

Got too many tires in my garage. Next season I'll be running autoxing in STX class with something like Kumho MX's, so I won't need these anymore.

Pics up soon when I get home.

Here they are.

They look dirty and have chunks of "stuff" stuck on them, that's because they get hot on the track and melt. When they melt, they pick up rocks and tar. Sometime you can even find "black marbles" that is composed of rubber and tar on the track. These chunks of stuff covered up the treads, but when you have couple hot laps, they will all go away and look "slick" again.

The third tire from the top looks worn because of the lighting and angel. They really do have quite a bit of treads left, it's about two DE weekends for me.
