Hey guys,
I am giving you all fair warning that I will be soon frequenting this part of the forum. I am finally parting with my modified E36 328is and have decided to get an E46 M3. I will be looking for an 01 or 02 M3 and I cannot wait! I will be sure to check the production date to try and avoid the engine issues. I have done my fair share of searching, but if anyone wants to throw any helpful hints my way...they would certainly be appreciated

My friends father goes to dealer auctions and I was going to go with him to pick up the car. I was planning on a car with 70k miles or so that I could pick up for sometihng in the mid 20's

I concur. I have looked over the past few weeks' auction results and if I get lucky I can get a 60k car for under 25k. I just am waiting for the sale of my car and then Ill be on my way....cannot wait.

actually I read my signature after I posted in this forum and it made me feel infantilized becuase I definitely should have been more specific. I eat stock E36 M3's....I cant wait though, Im thinking that the M3 will be a great DE event car as well as a reasonable daily driver.

Oh man M3's are cheap in the US
I'm lucky to find one for 40k usd here in canada.
Oh well I just have to keep my eyes peeled over here if I want one
