I was cruising around in the M3 convert. tonight and suddenly the steering was really heavy( what the fuck). I stopped to get some power steering fluid thinking that was the problem but there is no power steering fluid filler or anything like that. So now the steering is really heavy something is wrong for sure and I don't have clue what it is.
Any ideas?

There is a filler. If you are looking at the motor its to the right deep down. It will be before the intake tubing way below it.

I even looked in the book and it shows all the other filler other the power steering. I will go and look again. Thanks

Is your pump noisy? Any new noise from the car when you turn the wheel? Power steering pumps are a notorious problem with the M3. I just had mine replaced. Steering is much smoother and no more noise.

No noise what so ever, just gets really heavy. I am taking it to BMW friday morning will see I guess. I still couldn't find the power steering filler either.

PS reservoir is behind the oil dipstick, 15-20 inches lower then the top of the air intake manifold. Between the dipstick and the elbow on the intake tube just before the intake manifold look down, it is black. Hope you have thin hands and arms, it is tight in there.

Ohh shit, I think it is making some noise when I turn it all the way

Do not drive it without enough fluid in it or you can damage the pump.

I picked up the car today from the dealer. They didn't find anything wrong with it but it still is the same.
