What do you guys think about this intake?

I see some other ones with the carbon fibre..Is that all for looks or does it work better somehow? I got myself a Remus exaust, angel eyes, clear side markers, AC strut tower brace, AC pedals, so far. I think an intake would be the next mod.
Thanks

Have it and love it. Match this with the appropriate software and it will sing.

Hi Mert,

I have AA software. They have a program specifically for the K&N. Also, I had them work out the Motorsport T-Stat for me. The custom anti-rasp is welding on 2 areo-turbine AR-20 resonators to the OE mid pipe. It work nicely when the exhaust is up to temp.

BTW, another good software is D/A. Is you call D/A auto, ask for Sean and tell him I sent you.

I am sorry dude I am so new to the M3 stuff. I had a few other BMW's but they were all 3 serious. I still have two more questions for you:
1: How can I get the custom anti-rasp is welding on 2 areo-turbine AR-20 resonators done? Do I got to go to a muffler shop and try to explaine or is there a kit for it?
2: D/A auto?? who are they/what does D/A stand for it?
Thnaks

Here goes...look up the Aero-Turbine AR-20's. It will cost you about $50 at any muffler shop to have them cut / welded. At least that's what it cost me.

Total cost: $200

D/A is Discovery Auto. They are a reputable shop that sells pretty much everything for BMW's. See here:

I have no idea if they are a BF sponsor or not. But they do support others.

Sean can help you out more than I can on what they offer, so I will let him do that.

Instead of chopping up your OE pipe, you can get a prefabbed unit like this custom pipe from rogue engineering:

RE Rasp Pipe (http://www.rogueengineering.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=RE_EX_E46_M3)

Also, D/A still offers a free upgraded Streamline Cone for the KN 63 with purchase of their street software. (tell Sean Blaine sent ya)
