Ok gonna do some detailing this weekend if its dry, but i have a Q:

Rinse
Wash
Dry
Clay
Polish
Seal/Wax

I know thats the order, but after claying, is there any residue or bits of clay that need to be cleaned off before moving on to polishing?

Surely there must be some moisture left after claying a section (considering you have to spary on detailer), you must have to dry this off with a cloth before moving on to the next section?

Once I finish claying a section, I rinse it with water. I keep the car wet to avoid water marks and once I finish claying, I wash the car again.

Id wash the car after claying. I always do, and it only takes a little extra time.

If you follow the direction, and don't let the QD dry on the panel you are working on, then there is no need to wash after you wax. Spray QD, clay, wipe off QD.

I use QD to lubricate the clay. I always wipe it down to remove most of the QD before I polish. I don't bother washing as I already washed and the clay just cleaned the car even more.

The polish will remove any left over QD residue. I spray a little QD on the pads when polishing anyway. It keeps the pad lubricated and helps the polish spread and not absorb into the pad.

but surely you dry before you start to clay?
