hey everyone...is this kit legit?? I thought s54's came maxed out from the factory with a possible 5 rwhp that you could squeeze out. Is this true?

That is an awful lot of risk to take for an additional 65 hp. I suppose it could be done, but would you have to run race gas afterwards?

Perhaps that's measured at the flywheel so maybe 50 at the wheels. That's $152 per bhp, before installation. Ouch is right.

Might as well go FI for much larger gains for not a lot more money.
65 HP for a couple of $K, then we would be talking.

also doesnt say to the wheel...thats flywheel, so yes that is DEFINATELY possible, i would even go far enough to say some na people on here have more than that

its possible, but only worth it if you wanna stay na. supercharger produces much more power, for about the same dollar.

No prob with the power with all them mods, maybe a handfull more even.
But it is a de-catted system the way i read it. So not smog legal.
But the schrick cams are smoother than the standard ones, try and imagine that power. Sweet torqey power, and the sound from those throttle bodies.
I have bought the 288/280 cams for my build up of a csl engine in a miata.

I'm a N/A guy, but I'd go FI before $152 per bhp!
