hey guys,

i would just like to see how this would look on an m coupe. i've gotta respray the front and sides probably in another year or so. don't know if i would just suck it up and repaint the whole car avus blue (it is my fav. oem color).

I think the darker looks better. but have you seen Montreal Blue its pretty sweet its got hint of purple to it.

To get it close to the right color i used the selective color feature under Image>Adjustments>Selective Color... I selected blue and played around with mainly the amount black it had. I've found out that too much of a change with the selective color feature begins to make the paint really rough. So i just adjusted the black a slight amount to get the general shade then adjusted brightness/contrass of the body of the car, just trial and error till i got to avus. Hope thats easy enough to follow, if not just ask.
