My friend leased an '07 530i fully loaded a few months ago. Just recently somebody tried to steal his wheels but didn't get the lugs off all the way. He wasn't aware that someone was trying to steal his wheels until he was driving the next day and heard a funny sound from the car. He's not a car guy so he couldn't figure out what was wrong with the car. Next thing you know, he's driving in Seattle, not at high speeds thankfully, and his wheel flies off the car breaking his axle and sending his car skidding! All in all at least $6k worth of damage. He told me BMW Bellevue basically told him to get lost so he went to BMW Seattle instead. He only got a loaner for two days b/c they asked for it back and his car has been in the shop for 3 weeks and is going to be there at least another week or more. I'm not totally sure of the exact details but he wasn't too impressed w/ BMW Bellevue and since I was contemplating getting back into a BMW I might just avoid the Bellevue location. Anyone else have experiences (good or bad) with either of these dealerships?

I have no experience with them but did read some reviews while looking for a shop to perform a PPI. They won't be hard to find.

If you do a search on the board...I believe a local owner took his car in BMW Bellevue to get service done. Tech took it out for a 30miles test ride? Crashed the car, the dealer offered him a POS for replacement...on and on. I would go to BMW Seattle. Ask for Alex Long..local SCCA racer and a good friend of mine...he will help you out.

Didn't you just moved here from Chicago? How ya like the rain?:D

BMW Seattle was the better choice for me, easily after my experiences

Yeah, I recently went to BMW of Seattle...they chipped up my freshly painted hood, tried to talk me into using touch up paint, I told them to Eff off, finally I spoke with Steve Bates and it's being taken care of fairly.

I wasn't impressed at first, but I keep having to remind myself that they get crap like this all the time that isn't their fault.

I have nothing but positive experiences at both dealerships but I prefer Seattle. It's simply because a few of my friends work there and it's really close to work.
