2 different cars.2 different things about them

1st car- 2003 White exterior and beige interior
has the smg tranny(which i was told had probs?)
only has one year left on factory warranty
only thing it doesn't have is=heated seats
has 23k miles

2nd car- 2004 Silver with red and black interior.
has the regular auto tranny(didn't want a manual anymore, so its fine)
has 2 years on the warranty left, has everything i want. the heated seats, power everything, and i think it has integrated phone with bmw assist(is that this the right year?) looks like it from the pics and the stuff on the steering wheel
has 20k miles and 1 grand less
i know sounds like an easy decision, but only thing holding me back is the color of the car..silver isn't my favorite color for a car, but the red accents it pretty nicely..not sure which one would be the better choice

probably silver but need some opinions on things like the tranny, etc. thanks!

Neither seem overly appealing: I'd go with #1 b/c of the tranny. But IMO white/beige is an atrocious color combo. Not a fan of beige to start with, but it can work on a dark car, but not on white. Alsoit seems odd that the older car with more miles on it is going to cost more, hence my hesitation.

I prefer the silver one. Silver has a more metalic/auto feel about it that is not present in the white color. Silver w/red is classier in my opinion. - I got an all black, but in hindsight find the red upholstery very unusual and intersting. On-the-other-hand, if you don't plan on driving above the speed limit, get the white one.

actually i found my favorite one, and it blows the rest out of the water. its a 2005 with heated seats, sport package. bmw assist, beige interior with a "maldives blue" exterior. its in immaculate condition! only thing its missing is the Xenons..but i'll just slap a kit in there after i buy it. 20k miles as well. lease return, looks like a great buy..only thing that worries me is i turned the key and it said -9130 miles for oil change. which tells me he hasn't gotten the oil change done in a LONG time. which makes me worry because it shows me how well the person took care of the car, i mean..ITS FREE..thats holding me back right now..but otherwise the car is great, the woodgrain looks awesome in the car compared to the aluminum color

fyi if xenons are very important to you I'd look for a car with them oem

iirc any of the aftermarket kits will cause a light failure icon to permanently illuminate in the instrument cluster
