What pad on porter cable when using plastx on headlight covers?

White which is no cut?
Or the yellow/orange that has some cut?

And will I need to wax or put anything on after I do the plastx?

I guess it ultimately depends on the condition of the lens, and yes, it would be a good idea to keep them protected with a wax/sealant.

I would suggest that a pad with no cut should be used if the headlight covers are only slightly scratched, and remember to keep it on a low speed to avoid any heat build up. Hopefully someone else can chime in, as I have no experience doing this.

LCM Orange with Megiaurs Body Scrub / Plastic Polish, then K-AIO to clean up. I then used the thickest [40 mil] Lamin-x product for protection.

You can always start low and if it doesn't work, switch to higher cut.

Always try the lowest then try a more agressive. For me, I used a yellow pad and had good results.

I just used a white pad with the Meguiar's PlastiX with good results. It got rid of all the yellowing, though there is still some deep pitting. Good enough to last me until I get ZKW's in the future, they look pretty good now.
