The center console on my recently purchased '01 530i has a couple of light scratches (wood console) and could use a little more shine. Any suggestion on how to go about this? Thanks!

Some like to use a light plastic polish or something like Klasse AIO.

I have used a couple of products I really like for this. Einszett Metallic Polish which, as ZaneO said, is a light polish and worked wonders when worked in with a small foam pad. I then use 3M Imperial hand glaze and a MF towel and the oils in that stuff really finish it off to a nice shine and gloss. Again, I don't think you can go wrong with a gentle application of a light polish like you'd do on the exterior paint.

I have used Klasse AIO also and it worked great.
