Here are some pics I took at the last SPEED World Challenge race at VIR. I'm no photographer but some of the inside car pics are cool if you've never seen one before. Anyone heading down there in April for the next SPEED World Challenge race?

I wish. I didn't see that car in the pits anywhere. But I'm hoping to during the next race.
Thanks for the kind words everyone.

Thanks for the pics. I was just wondering what an $80,000 S54 engine looked like. I fell out of my chair (figuratively speaking) when I heard how much it cost. Doesn't that look like an 8"-10" or bigger opening for the intake plenum? Whoa!!
:eek2:

Unless you've heard otherwise, I was under the impression that McMillan was still running the E36 Euro 3.2....just like PTG did in ALMS. No one has developed the S54 yet...though PTG has started in preparation for next year's World Challenge season.
As for the cost, that's nothing...the electronics to run it alone cost more than most of our cars. ;)
