The 03 im looking at has Rain sensor wipers, how exactly does this work? i mean i know has a sensor that senses rain pretty explanitory but do the wipers just turn on, or do you have to have them set a certain way? hope you guys know what i mean.

2nd: do any of the 03/04 z4's have the homelink system? does it only come in a certain package, etc?

3rd: do any have the dusk sensing lights that will turn on automatically when it gets dark, and does this only come in a certain package? Thanks!

1) You need to flick the wiper stalk up to intermitten for the rain sensing wipers to work.

2) I don't think it comes with homelink, you need to buy a special mirror integrated with homelink (I have that on my '03). It also makes the mirror autodimming.

3) Yes. I think it's part of the premium package for '03.

I have an '05 3.0 with the Premium package and the wipers work as stated above, except that when you shut the engine off and then start up again, you have to turn the wipers off and then set to intermittant again. The sensor is in the windshield where the mirror is attached. As for Homelink, I "think" that is an option in addition to the Premium package since I didn't get it but have the auto dimming mirror.:rolleyes
