Greetings Lovers and Gamblers,
Yesterday I humiliated a GTS Commodore on the Gore Hill expressway, one of those tinter yellow GTS 300kw models.
The middle aged dude driving came steaming up on the fast lane, all proud of his Holden and eager to challenge the foreign invader embodied by my unassuming BMW.
Cunningly slipping back into third and waiting for our hero to bust a move, I noticed the white knuckled concentration as he gripped his chunky steering wheel and urged his mount onward.
This time I let him get up level and just kept accelerating to keep half a car length in front. This taunting went on for some time until the road ahead began to look a touch congested, whereupon I booted it and pulled out in front of him.
Not content with this humiliation he came at me again a few minutes later through Lane Cove when we both cleared the traffic. This time I nailed it and didn't see him again until the next set of lights.
A friendly wave and toot of the horn as he cruised past marked the sign of a true gentlemen. And loser.
Sigh. So many wannabes, so little time ...
Until next time, your double demerit tempting, highway patrol dismissing BMW pilot.
