i was at the willow springs race track last tue. with the z4 m coupe and though i never put in the destination, ever, into the gps, the map/gps is preprogrammed to state the following message...correct destination - guidance not possible... it literally switched over as u turn into the driveway of the racetrack off the main road.:D

do you mean the race track gas station? if so BMW doesn't have it listed because if you ever put race track gas in your car, your doors will lock and a bmw assistance person will come and slap you for using it, then siphen your filter and put some good gasoline in there ;)

You'll notice in your picture that all of those roads appear gray. Fully digitized roads appear brown. So the gray roads exist in the database and have names and everything, but they are not capable of being part of any destination guidance. For instance, it'll tell you that you're on First Street, and it'll tell you that you're on Main Street after you turn onto it, but it can't tell you how to get from First Street to Main Street.
As soon as you turn off of a fully digitized road, it displays that message.

I think that is a very fitting discription for track driving.

Drive around enough in some rural areas and you'll see it ... I've seen it a few times when I was up in S.Carolina.
