Is the price fair? What should I look for?

Thats a rust bucket. I bet it has no floors, bad rockers, bad spare tire well, and lotsof rust. + Its an auto, meaning shitty tranny. Overpriced.

I just bought my 76' with all the chrome, original windows, original owner, all the books, runs great; may need a new head gasket, absolutely no rust. I paid a grand. Boise, Idaho.

I just saw a 76 going for $4200 CAD dollars. The car was in very nice shape + new paint. I assume it might have had some rust too.

Where I live a $1000 will get you a mid-70s rust bucket thats worn out and tired. Thanks to BC weather, cars rust out here like crazy...even thoug we dont have snow here.

This car sat for 14 years canopy covered and undriven, it's amazing it runs so well. The odometer reads 108k, it however doesn't work nor fuel gauge. The dash is toast. I'll post a pick and see what the community really thinks, probably jealous but we'll see.

hehe, good things about automatics. 5 speed conversions fit easily! I am in the process of looking for a nice E 30 for my sister do I can get a 76 02 automatic with sunroof and air that was totally restored by me back. I paid 1k for the car orginally and probably have about 5k in it. It really depends on what you want and are willing to do to them. People that own 02s will tell you not to pay alot because to get them "back" to standards can cost some bucks. I guess it depends on what you want it for and how much you are really willing to spend on it. They are a kick in the grass to drive!
