Ok so I took my eyelids to the paint shop yesterday, they will be painted and ready tomorrow. While I was there I asked the painter how much it would cost to touch up minor scratches all around the car (Hood, Doors, trunk etc...) I thought they would need to be sanded primed and sprayed. HE confidently told me he could get all of them out by buffing the car, he also stated he could renew the look of m y cHrome molding on the doors by buffing and that no painting was going to be needed. He said it would take roughly 5 hrs and he would only charge me $150.

Now I know all you DIY'ers are thinking just do it myself, but I work in IT, and 3rd shift at that, so I dont have any time or the equipment to do this myself. This painter has done some amazing work for me in the past with some show cars I owned, but is this possible? The scratches and nicks arent that bad, but I was sure that paint would be needed. Any advice?

you can easily remove scratches with the way hes describing. He could even wet sand them some if they were that tough.

Is that a pretty reasonable price? I mean 5 hrs worth of work seems like a pretty good deal. BTW that BMW Badg on your profile is sick, did you make that?
