well i have access to an original set of 1970 aluminum rallye wheels, but im not to sure what the goin rate for them is. i have searched high and low with no results. anyone have an idea?

PS. they are the original 4 spokes from the original rallye car :)

from what i understand from the owner is they are the original rims usued on the BMW 1600 rallye car in in 1970

Those are American Racing Libres. Very common on Datsun 510s. As for value, you could check out 510 classifieds or put em on ebay.

thanks for posting that image for me. those are the rims. the owner says that they arnt american racing rims. he swears to me that they are original bmw rims from 1970. i guess ill have to pull one off and take a look.

They aren't BMW made 2 kinds of alloys in the early days. The ones above and early pre E 30 bottlecaps.

I believe Datsun 510's are 4x114 bolt pattern.

I am 99% sure those are the same rims Richard Stern has on his turbo... he said they were a factory option in Italy from memory.

I think they're different (but very similar) from Richard's rims. His are Gotti 2-piece. As it's my first post here (Hello!) I can't post a pic or full link but you can see them here - freewebs.com/bmw2002turbo/turbos.htm
