Recently a fellow member ran a VIN check for me. (thanks again) I am finally getting my new windshield and I want to make sure I order the correct options. One of the options is labeled:
358 CLIMATE COMFORT WINDSCREEN.
Is this what is commonly refered to as "heated windshield"?

If I had theft deterent on my windsheild, does anyone know what that option/code would look like on a VIN check?

While we're at it does anyone know what 818 MAIN BATTERY SWITCH is?

because of all the links on www.e38.org ...the easiest way I've found to get to the links I'm looking for is to do a page search.

To do a page search, you can go up to the top of your browser page and click on EDIT, then scroll down to FIND or FIND on THIS PAGE...this will open a dialog box...then type "Factory Option Codes" into the box...your computer will search the open page for every instance that phrase appears.

Or...you can do a keyboard shortcut and press [Ctrl+F] and do the same as above.
