lol, yeah, i know....dusten's car is beautiful :D
ixe30 11-08-2006, 08:53 PM Your car looks hot too. What I'm getting is nothing special. Alpine white..doesn't even have leather. My wife drives a 94 325is and I've been driveing a 91 325ix. I was looking at buying an early 90's 5 series befor this popped up. I've always had a thing for hatchbacks. Sounds like I'm going to catch alot of flack on the forum from people but that's okay. I used to eat shit from the porsche owners for driveing a 944. :) if the engine's not in the back Porsche owners didn't consider it a true porsche.

"Doesn't even have leather..."
Cloth > leather haha...
It doesn't get as hot when the car is parked in the sun for a long time...
What package does it have (base, active, sport?)?
Iono...but some people just don't like how the ti looks and other love it...

GottaLoveAvus 11-08-2006, 10:07 PM idk if everyone thinks they are ugly, they think more of it being slow... the car has a lot of potential as do many cars, you just have to be able to see it...

Not only are the sport seats the best... the Millpoint Red interior is the Ultimate Supreme Interior. :D

Its just a base model. Actually I don't remember the last time I had a car with cloth seats. I'm tired of leather to tell you the truth. The cleaning and the hot seats in the summer and the freezing seats in the winter.
ixe30 11-09-2006, 07:32 AM I have to get more info. on these cars. I really don't know the difference with the ti's and all there opitions. I know they never made an m but is the club sport supposed to be the equivalent.

In the US, the Club Sport was made in 95.
Club Sport
About 300 of these were imported into the United States. Included in the "Club Sport" model were 16" wheels and tires, M-technic body panels and suspension, and a special interior trim package. The Club Sport was only available in Bright Red and Jet Black. Also included were M3 mirrors.
Sport
In 1995 the Sport had the same 15" wheels and tires as the active and did not have body colored sideview mirrors. Only the 1995 Club Sport had 16" wheels which later became standard. Starting in 1996 the Sport packaged included, 16" sport alloy wheels with 225/50 ZR high-performance tires, leather steering wheel and shift knob, sport suspension, sport seats, sport cloth/leather upholstery, fog lights, M-technic body-colored bumpers and side skirts.
ixe30 11-09-2006, 09:22 AM well I made a deposit..and I'm going to pick it up in a few hours.here's a link...

I got it for a lot less then the asking price...it's a lot of miles but I still think I'm getting a decent deal. Normaly when a car averages 20 thousand miles a year there mostly highway mils. Like I said ..she's a complete base model.

Sweet deal. Looks like there is some spots on the seats, but that can be cleaned up pretty easily. The overall condition of the car doesnt look bad at all, but a lot of the "pep" is going to be lost with at auto-tranny. Welcome to the TI community!!!

Nice. Let me be the first to suggest putting a dedicated pair of snow tires on those wheels and picking up a nice set of 17" wheels for rest of the year driving.
ixe30 11-09-2006, 06:04 PM I now own it...not a tap to the engine. Shifted nice smooth and it had more pep then I thought it would. Had a two hour drive to get to know it and I love it. She is very basic though. No cruise control or power anything except the windows. It's the perfect back and fourth to work car. The molding thats missing is in the trunk. apparently it's missing the plastic clips that hold it on. I'll have to check pelican parts tonight to see if I can pick up the clips. Other then that the paint is pretty damn good. Some marks on the rear bumper but everything else is nice. The interiour is damn near spotless carpet and all. He was asking 3000 grand...but I offered him 2500 and he took it! It's alot of miles but it feels like a car that was taken care of ...stearing was still tight. I think I got a pretty damn good deal! She's not nearly as fast as my 94 is...but she is what she is...a fun little car to get back and fourth from work in.
3DGE95Ti 11-10-2006, 06:54 PM Well once I get a better job, I will sell my current ti to my parents then buy a sport model. I like the leather interior!

And FWIW I think the ti is the best looking e36 made. So what if it doesn't have a 6. It's soooooo fun to drive.

ixe30 11-18-2006, 09:46 AM It still feels kinda wierd when I'm cornering. My 325is you can feel the back end pulling around a corner..feels heavy. Then when I corner with this car I'm expecting that same thing to happen but Its more like driveing a go cart. I keep expecting to feel it but it's not there.

That might be it, but the one i saw was darker...listed on ebay in a wrecked car for sale....they said the cloth was black, not purple.

Well in the direct sunlight it appears more purplish but that is the black cloth they are speaking of, I'm pretty sure.
