I'm looking for any and all help I can get because I'm contemplating moving to OR in January.

Where is the closest SCCA club located? Closest races? How often are the races?

I'm an experienced drywall finisher so I will also be looking for a job!
If I cannot find a job with drywall I'm looking for any kind of apprenticing/entry level job that will pay around $15/hour.

Any and all informative help would be greatly appreciated by myself!

SCCA has an Oregon Region. There is a track in Portland.

www.scca.com should have several answers for you regarding racing.

I have no experience with SCCA. No BMWCCA club racing north of Thunderhill in Willows, CA. Don't think there's any NASA stuff up here either. You'll be close to PIR, but not sure what their events are like. I always seem to go south.

Check with member usm34me. He does some racing in the northwest.

SCCA races in Portland and in Kent, WA. Easier to come down to Thunderhill or Infineon. Moving to Portland, bring your rains.

There's also local racing if you're into that.

www.icscc.com (that's who I run with).

It's a GREAT time!
